Santero Rosso Degli Angeli Rosso 750ml
sparkling wine italy
The family's wine-growing history began during the difficult times of World War II, when the grandfather of the current owner, Gianfranco Santero, began the family's wine-growing history.
Despite the turbulent times, the family continued to focus on grape cultivation and bulk winemaking. The four sons, Leopoldo, Renzo, Aldo and Adelio, decided to create their own sparkling wine brand, and in 1958 they combined their passion and entrepreneurial spirit to purchase an old winery in Santo Stefano Belbo, where the current winery is located, that specialized in sparkling wines and traditional Piedmontese brands.
After this huge investment, their great dedication to the wine business and flexible management system allowed them to acquire new customers and new markets one after another, and they grew into a world-renowned winery. From this time on, they developed a flexible attitude that listened to the needs of the market and valued customer satisfaction.
In 1977, the company made another major investment, building the most advanced winery and cellars at the time. The site stretches over 18,000m, and it is located in the heart of the Moscato growing area, the grape variety used to make Asti.
